Sherfield Manor near Basingstoke, photographed from the south-west in 1908: the gabled house with its tall chimneys and ivy-covered walls above a balustraded terrace and a wide lawn.
A heritage print: a photograph by Edwin Dockree, published in 1908 in Mervyn Macartney's Recent English Domestic Architecture, printed as it is — not redrawn — with the place and date in the name band. It shows the house as it was then, and some things will have changed since.
Sizes and finishes
- Poster on 200gsm premium matte paper: A3 (42 × 29.7 cm), A2 (59.4 × 42 cm). Frame not included.
- Canvas, stretched: 45 × 30 cm, 60 × 40 cm. The nearest canvas sizes to A3 and A2, so the picture is cropped slightly to fit.
