Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich rises from a low viewpoint at the foot of its steps, the grey ribbed dome with its gilded finial and weathervane set above a ring of columns and a dark clock face. A colonnade of tall pale pillars runs across the front, with balustrades, arched windows and pedimented wings either side. Warm cream stone, soft blues and gold dominate, painted in a smooth vintage-style poster manner.
