Good to know

Where does the map come from?

From OpenStreetMap, the open map of the world that volunteers make and keep up to date. Every road, path, river, railway and park on your poster is real map data, drawn in the colours you choose. Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database Licence.

Will I see it before I pay?

Yes. You see the whole poster as you make it — the map, the colours, the layout and your words — and you approve it before checkout.

Which sizes and finishes can I choose?

A3, A2 and A1 on 200gsm matte paper, unframed or framed in black, white or oak. Canvas comes in 30×45, 40×60 and 60×90cm. Portrait or landscape.

Can I change the words?

Yes — the title, a second line and a short message. We start you off with the place's name and its coordinates; change them to anything you like. Please check your spelling carefully — we print the wording you approve.

Can I put more than one place on a poster?

Yes — a story map puts two or three places on one poster: where you met, where you said I do, your first home. Each is a real street map in its own shape, with its own line underneath. Make a story map.

How is it delivered, and what if it arrives damaged?
