St Nicolas' Church, Newbury Poster

St Nicolas' Church, Newbury rises from a low viewpoint, its battlemented tower with corner pinnacles and a small blue clock face filling the left of the frame. The long nave stretches away to the right, tall pointed windows below a crenellated parapet, with bare-branched trees and dark hedging across the base. Warm honey and amber stonework meets a bright blue sky and soft white cloud, drawn in a vintage screen-print style with grainy texture and deep russet shadows.
