Every place deserves a poster · Illustrated to order · Printed & delivered to your door

Photographer agreement

The short version

You keep your photographs. You let us turn them into posters and sell those — usually redrawn as an illustration, sometimes printed exactly as you took it, whichever the customer chooses. When one sells, you get 30% of what the sale earns us — or 50% when the buyer came through your own link. You can take a photo back at any time.

1. Who this is between

Us: Weekender Brands Ltd, company number 15832914, 28 Manor Park Close, Tilehurst, Reading RG30 4PS, trading as MyStreetPrints.

You: the photographer who accepted this agreement when signing up on our website.

2. What you're giving us permission to do

You give us a non-exclusive licence to:

  • keep a copy of the photographs you send us;
  • adapt them — an image model redraws the photograph as an illustration in one of our styles;
  • print and sell the photograph itself, cropped and colour-adjusted to suit the print, when a customer chooses our "No filter" option instead of a style;
  • sell prints of either, and show them on our website and in our marketing.

You are paid at the same rate whichever of the two a customer picks.

Non-exclusive means the photographs stay yours. You can sell them, licence them, print them or post them anywhere else, at the same time, without asking us.

3. What we'll do

  • Check every photograph before it goes on the site — an automatic check first, and a person for anything it isn't sure about — and only use ones that genuinely show the place they claim to.
  • Credit you by name where the photograph is chosen, on your own photographer page, and on the customer's order. Nothing is printed on the poster itself — it carries only the customer's own words, because a credit line across a framed picture spoils what they bought.
  • Give you a page of your own listing your photographs and the places they cover, with a link you can share.
  • Send you a statement each month showing every sale your photographs earned from.

4. What you're promising us

  • You're 18 or over.
  • You took the photographs, and they are yours to licence.
  • They are real photographs, not AI-generated or composited scenes. This is the whole product: a customer is buying their real place.
  • Where a photograph shows people who can be recognised, or private property in a way that needs permission, you have that permission.
  • Where a photograph was taken somewhere with an entry charge or its own photography rules — a National Trust property, a royal park, a private estate — you tell us when you send it. Several such places allow photographs but not selling them, whoever took the picture. Saying so isn't a problem; it's the one thing we can't find out afterwards.
  • Using them doesn't break anyone else's rights.

If any of that turns out not to hold, we'll take the photograph down as soon as we know.

5. Money

The rates. For every poster sold that was made from one of your photographs:

  • 30% of net as standard;
  • 50% of net when the customer reached us through your own link — your page, your QR code, or any link we give you — and made their poster from one of your photographs.

How we know they came through your link. If they make the poster on the same visit, or save it and come back to it, we always know: the link travels with the poster they are making. If they leave and come back separately, we can only recognise them for up to 30 days, and only if they agreed to marketing cookies when our site asked — the law does not let us remember them otherwise. Within those 30 days the sale is yours, even if they came back through a search, a newsletter or one of our own adverts before buying.

What "net" means. The poster's full price, less what the print cost us, less what posting it cost us, less the payment fee. It is not a share of the headline price: a £26 A3 costs us about £9.83 to print and post, so the sale earns about £15.47 and your share is about £4.65, or £7.74 through your link. A £55 A1 earns about £40.49, so about £12.15, or £20.25.

Discounts come out of our share, not yours. If a customer uses a promotional code, your commission is still worked out on the poster's full price. Our promotions are our decision to make and ours to pay for.

These are founding rates. We may change them for future photographs, but any photograph we accept in the first year keeps the rate it was accepted at for at least a year.

Paying you. Monthly, for balances of £10 or more; anything under that rolls into the next month, and we pay whatever has built up after a year whether it has reached £10 or not. We pay by bank transfer through Wise: the first time you're owed a payment we email you a secure Wise link, and you give your bank details to Wise directly — we never see or keep them. Your statement shows every sale with the print cost, the postage and the payment fee on it, so you can check the arithmetic rather than take our word for the net.

Refunds. We hold a commission for 30 days after the order, until the point at which it can no longer be returned, and pay it once that has passed. If a customer is refunded in the meantime, the commission simply doesn't arise. We will never take money back off you that we have already paid — no clawbacks, and nothing deducted from a later statement.

Your tax is yours. We don't deduct anything, and we won't invoice ourselves on your behalf: the monthly statement is the record of what you're owed.

6. Taking a photograph back

Tell us and we'll stop offering it, normally within a few days. Posters already sold, and orders already being printed, aren't affected — and if one of those customers needs a reprint or a replacement, we can still make it.

We can also stop using a photograph at any time, for any reason.

7. Your details

We keep your name, email address and your photographs so we can run this arrangement and pay you. Your bank details go to Wise, who make the payments; we never see or keep them. We don't sell your details. Ask us and we'll tell you what we hold, correct it, or delete what we no longer need.

8. The boring bits

  • Either of us can end this agreement with a month's notice. Ending it stops new posters being made from your photographs; it doesn't undo sales already made, and we'll pay what you're owed.
  • Nothing here makes either of us the other's employee, partner or agent.
  • This agreement is governed by the law of England and Wales.

Acceptance

You accept this agreement by ticking the box when you sign up on our website, which also asks you to confirm you're 18 or over. We record when you accepted it and which version. If we change the agreement, we'll tell you and ask you to accept the new version before it applies to you.

Version: 23 September 2026.
